February is here!
The groundhog says that spring will be here soon and florists and merchants tell us that Valentine's Day is fast approaching.
As we search for that special gift for our loved ones, we should not lose sight of the one who first loved us. He loved us while we were still in our mother's womb! And just look what he did for us. We are told in John 3:16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
What a wonderful gift that God gave to us. The gift of everlasting life. Because he loves us. Let's share that exciting news with everyone and tell them how they too can receive that gift.

January Was a Great Month
Traffic in the Library continues to increase. Several people are reading series and come in each week to get the next book in their current series. We have many great series from authors such as Karen Kingsbury, Tracie Peterson, Thomas Kincaid, Lori Wick, Terri Blackstock, and Francine Rivers. I am sure that you can find one that would interest you.
If you would like to write a Book Review on a book in our Library, we would love to publish it in our Blog. It does not have to be lengthy, just let others know what the book was about and what you think about it. Would you recommend it to your friends? Please take a few minutes and write down your feelings about the last book that you read and drop it off at the Library.
Quest for the Nail Prints - Book Review
I found this book at a yard sale this fall and was immediately drawn to it. The author is from Memphis so I wanted to see what he had to say. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down!
Quest for the Nail Prints is the story of three ordinary people chosen
by God for an extraordinary journey. A journey so amazing even they have
a hard time believing that it is real. Through unrelated circumstances,
Dr. Elizabeth Stewart, Reverend Paul Ryann, and Professor Leonardo Van
Eaton find themselves sharing a journey to the Holy Land . . . when
suddenly they are thrust back in time nearly two thousand years and find
themselves face to face with the rugged, radical rabbi known throughout
the region as Jesus of Nazareth.
This is the best Christian Fiction book that I have read. It touched me on a very emotional level. Can you even imagine traveling with Jesus during his last days before Calvary or attending the Last Supper in the upper room? I laughed, I cried, I wanted to share this book with everyone I know. This book could change your life. It is now available in our Library. Reserve it today by emailing us at library@westhillsbaptistchurch.com.
